Data, purposes and legal bases
We process names, email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses, account and order details to provide requested accounts, purchases, delivery and support: the legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Accounting and tax data are processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). IP addresses and technical logs may be used to prevent misuse and protect the website based on our legitimate interests in security and defending rights (Article 6(1)(f)). Required fields are necessary for the requested service; without them we may be unable to provide it. Do not email card details or sensitive information.
Recipients and services
Necessary data are accessible to authorised shop staff and providers of hosting, email, maintenance, support and accounting services; they may be shared with GLS for delivery and authorities where required by law. Hosting and email are provided through Hostinger. WordPress, WooCommerce and Falang manage content, accounts, orders and languages on the website. We do not sell personal data. Stripe and PayPal are not yet active in this preview: this notice will be updated before payments launch.
Retention
Account data are retained while the service is requested, subject to deletion requests and remaining obligations. Order data are kept to handle purchases, support, statutory guarantees and legal claims; accounting records are kept for the legally required period. Support requests are retained as needed to resolve them and document disputes. Technical logs and backups are limited to security, recovery and incident investigation needs; backups follow the service’s replacement cycle. Disputes may require relevant data to be kept until resolved.
International transfers
Providers may use infrastructure or subcontractors outside the European Economic Area. Hostinger describes its safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable, in its data processing addendum. Contact us for information about relevant safeguards and a copy.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw any consent without affecting earlier processing. Email info@ritualecaffe.com. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority or the competent authority in your country.
Cookies and communications
Read our Cookie notice. Purchases do not subscribe you to a newsletter. Advertising tools and automated decisions with legal effects on customers are not active in the current configuration. Account and order emails are service communications. Google Maps opens only when you select the external link and is governed by Google’s privacy information.
